Cancellation processes can be protracted and entail substantial written confirmation for legal compliance. However, if you choose to cancel or seek a refund for a transaction, DashCash provides an option to accommodate your request. Herein, we elaborate on our Refund/Cancellation Policy and associated procedures.

What is refund?

A refund pertains to the reimbursement of the amount paid for a specific transaction through the completion of the prescribed Refund/Cancellation procedure. It is essential to note that the refund amount shall not exceed the original transaction amount and does not encompass any transaction or administrative fees previously paid during booking.

Requesting a Refund:

To initiate a refund, the sender is required to submit a written request within a stipulated timeframe of 3 days (72 hours) from the initiation of the transaction. A nominal cancellation fee may apply, the amount of which is subject to change without prior notice. Approval of the refund request is contingent upon the completion of our due diligence procedures. Notably, a cancellation request cannot be sanctioned if the payment has already been received by the recipient or credited to the destination bank account. DashCash reserves the right to reject any cancellation requests without specifying a reason.

Refund Processing Time:

Upon approval of your transaction cancellation request, DashCash will promptly initiate a request to our international correspondent bank to expedite the return of funds to our account. Subsequently, your refund will be processed expeditiously. It is important to acknowledge that a Foreign Exchange (FX) loss deduction and a potential cancellation fee may apply before the refund is issued. All refunded amounts will be credited back to the sender through the same method employed for the initial transaction.

Timelines for Refund Based on Payment Method:

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method and the timing of the cancellation:

- Bank account payments: Refunds may take up to 10 business days to be deposited back into your account.

Reasons for Refund Delays

Understanding that waiting for a refund can be challenging, it's essential to note that refund timelines are influenced by factors such as the payment method, the speed of bank processing. If considering cancellation due to changes in the recipient's details, we recommend reaching out to DashCash first, as modifying details might expedite the transfer without the need for a refund.

Follow-Up on Refund

Should 10 business days elapse without receiving your refund, please take the following steps:

- Confirm the cancellation status of the transfer.

- Review your account or banking app for any pending credit transactions.

- If the original charge is present without a corresponding refund, contact your bank to inquire about the status.

- If your bank is unable to trace the refund, contact us at info@dashcash.com.au , and we are readily available to initiate an inquiry on your behalf.
